 Conference TipsUnlocking the Magic of your Experience Whether you’re attending your first SACRAO conference or you’re a seasoned participant, a little preparation can help you make the most of your time. Here are some tips to ensure your experience is both productive and memorable:
Dress Dress for the conference is “Florida casual.” (Khaki shorts, nice t-shirts, sandals or tennies.) Meeting rooms sometimes get a little cool. Comfortable shoes are a must! Location The conference space is located inside the DoubleTree facility, with no need to leave the building when traveling from the hotel to meeting rooms. Plan your Sessions Review the program in advance and select preferred sessions based on your interests and role. Did you know you can add them to your calendar, using the conference app? (Available in late January.) Networking Bring plenty of business cards and make meaningful connections with your colleagues and our corporate partners. Vendors often have resources, tools, and ideas that can benefit your work. Plus, you never know what magical giveaways or innovations you might discover!
