Orlando is served by an international airport, MCO, and service includes most national airlines. Orlando Airport (MCO)

The airport is about 20 minutes (17 miles) from the hotel. The hotel does not offer a shuttle service.

The average high temperature in Orlando in February is 74 degrees, with an average low of 56. Prepare for a Florida shower to pop up, though. They don’t last long, so no worries!

DoubleTree® by Hilton Universal

Hotel reservation information.  Conference rates are available three days before and after the conference, for those who wish to explore the area further. 

The hotel has several food options on site. In addition, there are numerous restaurants located in easy walking distance from the hotel. 

The DoubleTree is right at the doorsteps of Universal Orlando Resort. The resort includes two parks and CityWalk, a hub of dining and shopping. The third park, EPIC Universe is approximately four miles away. 

Universal Orlando Resort is approximately a 20-minute walk from the DoubleTree. 

The DoubleTree offers a shared shuttle service to and from the hotel to the resort. Shuttle times will be posted at the courtesy desk in the hotel. In August, as an example, the departure (to the parks) times were 7:45 am, 9:20 am, 10:15 am, and 11:20 am. The return (to the hotel) times were 5:25 pm, 6:30 pm, 7:35 pm, and 8:40 pm. 

The DoubleTree also offers a shared shuttle service to and from the hotel to EPIC Universe. Shuttle times will be posted at the courtesy desk in the hotel. In August, as an example, the departure (to the park) times were 7:15 am, 9:10 am, 10:25 am, and 11:35 am. The return (to the hotel) times were 5:25 pm, 6:30 pm, 7:35 pm, and 8:40 pm. 

Note: to enjoy CityWalk and the theme parks, there is a security screening, similar to most entertainment venues (sporting events, concerts, etc.) Be prepared to wait to pass through the security point. Times will vary depending on time of day and day.
